Typical Me! by admin

As soon as I typed that title I started singing Morrissey, or The Smiths should I say, but that's not what I want to blog about!

I've been typically 'me' silly again, and it's going to cost me money this time.

Foolish me, ordered an R4i card card online, I just wanted the standard one compatible with my DS. Stupidly though, the one I ordered was so 'standard' it didn't come with a memory card.

I obviously didn't read up on R4i cards much before deciding to order one, but they're sort of just like card converters, all the real business goes on on a microSD card, which I don't have.

Now I need to find one and they're really expensive in the shops, so I'm looking online. Iit would've been much cheaper if I'd just ordered the R4 with a memory card - it's only a few extra pounds!

Typical!

Compatabillity by admin

I am probably being something of an idiot here but just give me something to work on. I have a pretty bog standard digital camera with an SD card. I have always been happy with it and have no real desire to to upgrade the camera or anything. It is easy to use, small enough to carry around with out it being cumbersome and awkward, however I have recently been hitting a wall with it. You see the SD card just keeps getting full too quickly. I have been told that I should find a little more joy by trading it in for an SDHC Card instead but I’m not so sure. Apparently SD cards traditionally have a lot less memory in them than their counterparts the SDHC but I have also heard that there are numerous compatibility issues. I just don’t know what they are or even if they will affect me if I do buy one. Not that I’m about to invest in one and find out if it is a load of shit though. I mean, honestly. I aint made of money bro.
If anyone can hit me up or direct me to some amazing informational website on the ol’ SDHC Card that would be absolutely spiffing because I need to do something, whether it be buying a new card or a new camera. Hopefully it will be the former.

Rosanne Cash and Billy Bragg to collaborate by admin

If you follow folk music quite closely, you might have heard of Billy Bragg. For those who don't, Billy Bragg is a famous English folk singer and activist.
According to the latest update, Billy Bragg is all set to collaborate with singer Rosanne Cash -- does the surname ring a bell? Yes, you guessed it right, Rosanne Cash is the daughter of legendary country singer, song writer, actor and author, Johnny Cash.
Rosanne Cash and Billy Bragg met at the Ludwigsburger Schlossfestspiele festival in Germany, and they had a great time singing together, which has led to this collaboration. Billy Bragg has already started writing new songs and plans to record them with Cash this November.
For me, this is definitely something to look forward to.
